Calling all 4-H youth in grades 6-12 – come learn more about 4-H Honor Club and start filling out your application! 4-H Honor Club is a statewide organization of outstanding junior high (6-8th grades) and senior (9-12th grades) 4-H members.
We’re having three Honor Club application fill-out days this spring: Tuesday, Feb. 13th (RSVP by Feb. 9th), Friday, March 16th (RSVP by March 12th), and Tuesday, April 10th (RSVP by April 6th). These meetings will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Extension office, 302B Midland St., Somerville. You can RSVP by calling the Extension office at 901-465-5233 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. These are free, informational meetings. Refreshments will be provided.
Honor Club is based on participation, not awards; you don’t win membership in the Honor Club, you earn it! You get points for everything you do – completing projects, participating in events and activities, making presentations, helping other 4-H’ers, volunteering in the community – you even get points for just joining 4-H!
Anyone can become an Honor Club member if they’re just willing to participate, and participating is fun! Why not join us to learn more? You can come anytime during the fill-out session; parents are welcome, too, but are not required to stay. If you would like more information about Honor Club or 4-H in general, please call us at 901-465-5233, email email@example.com, or visit us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Fayette4H/.
